Elbit Methods UK has been awarded a contract to offer Magni-X micro-Uncrewed Aerial Methods (micro-UAS) to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). The contract has been awarded by Defence Gear & Help’s Future Functionality Group as a part of the British Military’s Human Machine Teaming framework, and the confirmed micro-UAS will likely be delivered to specialist military models for service by mid-2023. Magni-X is a confirmed military-grade Vertical Take-Off and Touchdown (VTOL) micro-UAS from a household of quadcopter platforms already in service with armed forces throughout the globe. As a part of the contract, Elbit Methods UK will ship the service-ready Magni-X methods to the British Military with a contracted choice to ship many additional methods.
