The vessel, ADV Cape Peron, was formally accepted by the Commonwealth of Australia. The Cape class is a ship class of 20 massive patrol boats operated by the Marine Unit of the Australian Border Drive, the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard.The 58-metre aluminium monohull patrol boat is the second of eight to be delivered to the Royal Australian Navy.
